Friends Meeting of Ballplay will have their 6th Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5. There will be great entertainment, children's games, inflatables and vendors. A general store with crafts and baked goods will be set up in the fellowship hall. There will be good food (hot dogs, chili, vegetable soup, nachos and cheese, funnel cakes, cotton candy, chips and can drinks) for sale. The Friends of the Tellico Plains Library is happy to announce the chance to win a beautiful framed print from artist David Deets. Mr. Deets is a landscape photographer from Atlanta, Ga. The print is titled "Morning Light at Fort Stevenson North Dakota." It is a limited edition and valued at $450. When you purchase a ticket, you are entered in a chance to win. You do not have to be present to win. The drawing will be held sometime in December. Tickets are on sale at Tellico Plains Public Library. Prices are as follows: $3 each, two for $5, or five for $10. All proceeds benefit the Tellico Plains Public Library.
