MICHAEL THOMASON | THE ADVOCATE & DEMOCRAT
With the generous help of Monroe County
residents, the Rescue Squad was able to purchase $70,000 in new
The Squad's old equipment was meant to work
with cars that had 5,000 psi, but many new cars now have 10,000 psi.
The new equipment can handle that and will be in use once members
take a training course.
Captain Magan Shaw said the bulk of the money
was raised from the annual letter drive and all members
wish to thank them for their help.
