local business man and county commissioner, needed a change.
After years of owning and operating
Allen's 7 til 11 gas station, he sold the store last fall.
A new opportunity came along recently
when he purchased Boruff's Restaurant on Sweetwater-Vonore Road (East North Street). It is now called Fat Hat's Grill.

Allen did a major makeover for the
restaurant with a new roof, electrical work, new grills and tables,
floors and other improvements.
The restaurant has long hours, 7 a.m.
to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
Deep fry, grill and plate lunches
makeup the popular menu.
