Sweetwater head football coach Craig
Moser will need to appear again in Loudon County General Sessions
Court the morning of Sept. 25 for a potential hearing.
Moser, facing charges of driving under
the influence in Loudon County early in the morning of July 22,
underwent preliminary discussions in the Loudon County court
Wednesday, according to district attorney Kristin Kelley.
Special teams coordinator Mike Martin
remains the interim head coach while Moser's case remains open,
Sweetwater High Principal David Watts said Friday.
Watts said Moser voluntarily stepped
aside from his head coaching duties for now, but still is teaching
physical education at SHS.
Moser was set to begin his second
season as the Wildcats' head football coach after leading Sweetwater
into the playoffs last season.
