MADISONVILLE-A Madisonville woman has
died from injuries she suffered in an April wreck that also took the
life of another man.
Amber Dawn Maddox, 28, Willow Creek
Drive, Madisonville, had been charged with vehicular homicide in
connection with an April wreck that left Jacob Ownby dead.
Tennessee Highway Patrolman Cory
Russell had also charged Maddox with vehicular homicide, two counts
vehicular assault, DUI, child abuse/neglect. Aggravated child
abuse/neglect and various traffic related offenses.
Maddox spent several weeks in UT
Medical Center before she was released and taken into custody at the
Monroe County Jail. She was there for a short time before she went
sent back to the hospital where she reportedly fell into a coma and
died Tuesday afternoon.
Russell said Maddox was in the
southbound lane of Highway 411 just before 11 p.m. on April 19,
traveling north in the wrong direction when she hit Ownby, 21, head
on, killing him, injuring his two passengers and injuring everyone in
