SWEETWATER-A Sweetwater woman was
Tasered and arrested Monday after she allegedly threatened a
Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Chris
Francis said he was going to a house on Old Mine Road to check on
threats and a disabled vehicle when he found the car at the
intersection of New Highway 68 and Old Mine Road.
Francis said there was a crying woman inside the car that he soon
identified as Amy Holcomb, who had reportedly made the call to 911.
Martin said Holcomb was confused and
talking about different subjects. He asked her if he was on any kind
of drugs and she said yes, then became very irate and started
screaming at him.
