MADISONVILLE-A Madisonville man who has
been arrested several times in the past was arrested again April 30
after a Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy spotted him at an auto parts
Joshua Matthew Anderson, 30, Tellico
Street, was arrested April 10 on charges he had thrown cinder blocks
at passing cars and had fired a weapon inside the city. He was also a
part of a 2009 killing in which he shot Vince Cole, but law
enforcement eventually ruled that shooting was in self-defense.
A little more than a week after the
cinder block incident, Anderson turned up in the woods behind Benton
Hams on Highway 411, carrying a pistol and claiming people were

Martin said officers were able to call Anderson on a cell phone and
get him to come out of the woods. A gun was found in his left back
pocket and he said people were chasing him at random times.
