MADISONVILLE-Parents, teachers and
community members will now have the option to voice their opinion in
the performance of Monroe County Director of Schools Mike Lowry.

County Board of Education agreed to continue using the same
evaluation tool as recent years for Lowry's annual evaluation. This
year, however, the board has added a separate survey of approximately
seven questions that will be given at random to some community
members, teachers and parents.
"They're the tax payers and they also
have to deal with Mr. Lowry when it's their student or child," said
3rd District School Board Member Sonia Lynn. "We are elected by the
people; we need to know what the people say."
