To kick off the National Boys & Girls Club week, Dr. Anthony Tricoli, the new interim executive
director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Monroe Area, stopped in
to visit the Madisonville Club for their "Open the Door, Take a
As a part of the appreciation week, the Madisonville
Torch Club offered free lemonade to visitors and parents. Dr. Tricoli
stopped in to meet some of the parents, members, and staff.
Williams gave him a tour, highlighting some of her favorite features
of the club such as the art room, quilting classes, and computer lab.
Afterwards, Dr. Tricoli talked with Unit Director Pam Christensen on
the impact the club is making in Madisonville along with improvements
that are needed.
"The Boys & Girls Club is changing lives one
child at a time. There is no better organization that can provide the
level of positive influence upon the future of our county than the
