The third annual
Ball Play Ruritan Club Ramp Festival will be on April 20 at the
Friends Meeting of Ball Play Fellowship Hall, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
There will be family activities, live music, vendors and local
community organizations. The Ramp Dinner is only served from 11
a.m.-2 p.m. The cost for adults is $7; children, under 12 are $4 for
hot dogs and chips. Vendors are invited to set up booths.
Scheduled entertainers include Mountain Strings Dulcimer Group,
Mullins Family, Kenneth Gay and Emi Sunshine with Perfect Joy
Revival. All proceeds benefit community projects in the Ball

Friends of the Tellico Plains Library
will host a pancake breakfast on April 27 at the Tellico Plains
Community Center, from 8-11 a.m. You may purchase your tickets at the
Tellico Plains Library, Citizens National Bank, Peoples Bank,
Volunteer Federal Bank all in Tellico Plains, and Athens Federal Bank
in Madisonville. Tickets are $2 and all proceeds will be used to
help the library. Please join us in a delicious meal and good
