SWEETWATER-Mayor Doyle Lowe said the
City of Sweetwater will have its tornado sirens that were donated
from TVA up by the middle of April or no later than the end of the

Lowe knows that April is potentially a
very stormy month. Cold weather has kept March from being stormy, but
that is likely going to change in the coming weeks.
Lowe said Langdale Forest Products
plans to donate poles to the county's four towns to hold the sirens.
All four towns received donated sirens from TVA. Lowe said Spectrum
Electric in Sweetwater is refurbishing Sweetwater's sirens and
setting up the control system for the Fire Department to activate
