A man who sued Ingles, claiming he was
never paid overtime, has voluntarily dropped his lawsuit, claiming
his lawyers misled him.
The lawsuit was filed in April 2012 in
U.S. District Court by Nathan Gilliard who said he has been a
co-manager of the Madisonville Ingles since Jan. 2008 and that he
regularly worked more than 40 hours a week and was never paid for it.
A trial was scheduled to start in
November of this year, but after his lawyers said he didn't have a
case, Gilliard dropped the suit, saying attorney's Juno Turner,
Justin M. Swartz and Elizabeth Alexander had misled him.
