Local author Jed Wright will have a
book signing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 23 at The Bookshelf on
Scott Street in downtown Tellico. He will be signing his newly
released book "I Will Never Leave You" which is a follow up to
the first book in the series, "Wake Up, O Sleeper." Both
books, though fiction, feature many scenes in and around Tellico,
Rafter and Indian Boundary. Wright is a lifelong resident of Monroe
The next meeting and dinner for the
Ballplay Ruritan club will be on March 25 at 6:30 p.m. It will
be held at the Friends of Ball Play Fellowship Hall located at 157
Ball Play School Road.

The third annual Ball Play Ruritan Club
Ramp Festival will be April 20 at the Friends Meeting of Ball Play
Fellowship Hall. The festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be family activities, live music, vendors and local
community organizations. Vendors are invited to set up booths.
