SWEETWATER-Warmer weather expected this weekend will be our first preview of spring.

With spring the corner, the Sweetwater Planning and Codes Enforcement Department is reminding citizens of some simple steps to help keep Sweetwater looking its best.

One of the best ways to help keep the city looking nice is to make sure you put your trash bags in trash containers with lids on them. Having trash in a can with a lid is required by city ordinance and copies of that ordinance are available at City Hall.

New sign rules passed last year will hopefully keep the city looking a lot less cluttered.
