SWEETWATER-Road projects were a major
topic during a brief Sweetwater Mayor Board of Commissioners meeting
Monday night.
A public hearing was held for several
of the street projects with no dissent.
The condition of Monroe Street in
particular has been an issue for the city. The hoops to jump through
on state road projects using federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds have been time consuming, but the project should get
started when the weather warms up.
"Hopefully, it will be paved in the
