Sweetwater Cub Scout Pack 117 celebrated their annual Blue and Gold Banquet Thursday night at their regular pack meeting. The annual banquet celebrates the anniversary of scouting and is like a birthday party for the pack. 

The Cub Scout colors are blue and gold and have special meaning. The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty, and the sky above. The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer and happiness. 

Pack 117 is Sweetwater’s only Cub Scout pack and meets all year long.
