THP saturates Monroe County
Author: Tommy Millsaps If you have driven through Sweetwater and Monroe County lately, you have probably noticed more Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers. Their presence has raised a few eyebrows, but the Tennessee Department of Safety says it was simply a saturation patrol effort by the THP recently in Monroe County, including Sweetwater. The THP rotates areas to put extra officers in during saturation efforts, the Department of Safety explained. See full story in the Sunday, March 3, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
