Sweetwater Hospital Association has given $10,000 to City's Community Playground project . SHA's goal is to help combat obesity in our community, and SHA is putting money toward fighting this epidemic. Author: Staff Report The City of Sweetwater would like to invite your congregation to participate in a community project to build a playground at the Recreation Complex, next to the football field on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 9 a.m. The city has received a grant from the Dr. Pepper/Snapple group to build this playground and a generous donation from Sweetwater Hospital Association to provide the matching funds of $10,000. People of all ages are invited to participate. Volunteer Federal, Ingles, and UGO will provide food and drinks to volunteers. "Together we will build a new playground and make great memories," Sweetwater city officials said. Please call City Hall at 337-6979 if you have any questions.
