SWEETWATER-It seems the controversy
over a proposed bus garage in front of Greenhill Addition won't go
away.
Alma Skinner last fall asked that the
property, which includes two tracts-one with the garage on it, be

commission did not approve her request in December. Several
commissioners said the residents near the garage were opposed to
having the garage open.

tracts--the one with the garage--was grandfathered in and could be
used a a garage even though the property has a residential, not
commercial zoning. The tract without the garage is not grandfathered
in. See full story in the Wednesday, Feb. 13, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
