Friends of the Tellico Plains Public
Library will hold its second annual fundraising road block on Feb.
16, in Tellico Plains. The road block will be from the hours of
9 a.m.-1 p.m. We had huge success last year, and we are so
incredibly grateful for everyone that donated. Please stop by

Friends meeting of Ball Play will be
host its second annual Chili Cookoff on Saturday, Feb. 16. The cost
to enter your chili is $10 per individual and $20 per group (church,
organization, etc.). You need to have your chili at the church
fellowship hall at 3:30 p.m. to be judged. First, second and third
prizes will be awarded. We will enjoy eating the chili (including
drink and dessert) from 4-6 p.m. Donations will be accepted to sample
the chili. There will also be a cake walk at 6 p.m. For info or to
sign up to enter your chili in the cookoff, call 295-2680/295-2780.
The church is located at 157 Ball Play School Road (Ball Play
Community) Tellico Plains.
