CLEVELAND
- Taylor
Hawkins
was on fire in the second half at Walker Valley on Thursday night.
Hawkins lit up the scorebooks with 18 of his 26 coming after the
half. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, that wasn’t enough to pull out
a win on the road in Cleveland.
Casey
Denham, Andrew Millsaps, and
Braden
Strickland all
scored 8 points. Shon
Stevens netted
7 points, Brett
King scored
3 and J.J
Harmon had
a basket.
Sequoyah
led 15-14 after the first quarter. The Chiefs hit a snag in the third
quarter when Walker Valley jumped on top with 18 points in the third.
Despite a furious comeback in the second half the Chiefs fell by the
final of score 69-62.
