Atchley leads Lady Chiefs, as they Squash Hornets, 63-24. Chiefs won in OT, 86-80

SEQUOYAH - The Lady Chiefs shut down Carter and won going away 63-24 inside the Chop House. Savana Atchley led Sequoyah in points with 11. This game saw 12 of the Lady Chiefs 15 players score on the night. Carter never really had a chance, but made it interesting early.

Sequoyah finally had enough and pulled away in the second half. Chancey Welshan had a solid game with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Danielle Slack finished the night with 8 points, while Emily Ingram netted 7. Hunter Simpson had six points total. Jessica White scored 5, and three other players netted 4 points apiece including Lynsey Miller, Kassidi Freeman and Laura Whited. Katie Torbett and Mattie Torbett each scored a basket, and Josee Weese had a free throw.
