The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development has announced the state's unemployment rate for December was 7.6 percent, remaining constant from the November revised rate of 7.6 percent.

According to the most recent state report, during the past year, Tennessee's unemployment rate declined from 8.5 percent to 7.6 percent while the national rate declined from 8.5 percent to 7.8 percent.
