SWEETWATER-The Sweetwater Board of
Education covered a variety of topics during Monday's January
meeting.
Mike Treadway, East District director
for the Tennessee School Boards Association, presented the Board of
Education with the award it earned for being a Board of Distinction.

allowed to carry around and come home with a 40-watt light and could
have cut himself or another child. The father listed other issues he
said he has had with the school system. See full story in the Sunday, Jan. 20, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
