Hamilton shooting case bound over

MADISONVILLE-It took a couple of months, but a man charged with shooting at his nephew has been bound over to a Monroe County Grand Jury.

After listening to testimony in a preliminary hearing, Monroe County General Sessions Judge Reed Dixon sent Larry Hamilton on to the higher court.

It was the day before Halloween last year when Tellico Plains Officer Brian Millsaps said he went to Mecca Pike and was told by Travis Hamilton that his uncle, Larry Hamilton, had tried to shoot him several times with a handgun.
