MADISONVILLE-A Madisonville man was
arrested late Thursday night after he allegedly threatened to kill a
family and then fought with deputies.
Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Brady
Bowers said it was around 10:15 p.m. Jan. 10 when he was told that a
man on Short Bark Road was "off his medication" and making
a family fear for their lives.
Bowers said he arrived at the house and
talked to Kim Sharp, who said Matthew South had thrown something
through a window and was threatening to kill her and her family.
Bowers said Sharp and her family had locked themselves in a bedroom
to hide from South. See full story in the Wednesday, Jan. 16, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
