BENTON - Sweetwater walked into Benton looking for a win on the
road, but the Wild Kittens were having none of that. The Lady Cats were shut out in the first period
and were unable to climb out from under. Polk County dominated the second half to take the contest,
55-17. Macala Ramussen led Sweetwater in scoring with six points.

scored four points while Betsy Mashburn had three. Tyra Hurst scored a basket. Rachel Thomasson and
Hannah Duprey each finished with a point. Sweetwater fought back to score 14 in the third
quarter, but by then Polk had built quite a lead. Emily Wilson led all scorers with 16 points,
and Riley Hatcher fnished the night with 10 to aid the Wild Kittens in the victory.
