Lowe seeks re-election 
Author: Tommy Millsaps SWEETWATER-Mayor Doyle Lowe has formally announced he will seek re-election in the June 2013 city election. The mayor said he is looking forward to continuing the progress in Sweetwater. "I am looking forward to 2013," he said. Lowe won his first term in 2009, beating out two other candidates. He lost a run for mayor in 2005 to incumbent Jim Stutts before winning the job four years ago. The big question remaining is will anyone run against the incumbent mayor?
