TELLICO PLAINS-The Lady Bears had an easy time with Harriman on Tuesday night. A 51-31 win was a result of a total team effort from Tellico Plains. Jasmine Harris was the only player to score in double figures, netting 10 for the Lady Bears.
Harriman couldn't match the depth the Lady Bears employed. Valerie Cheek and Brittany Kirkland each had seven points while Tori McMinn scored six. Rachel Sutton netted six points while McKinley Dalton added five. Chelsea Davenport had a basket and Terzah Miller rounded out the scoring with a free throw.
Harriman had no answer for Tellico's cutting guards. The Lady Bears were able to attack from all points on the floor which took some of the pressure off Harris to do most of the scoring.
In Tellico's last game, Harris put up 30 points, but when her teammates contributed like they did Tuesday night, Harris had no need to shoulder much of the scoring load. Tellico's bench played well and they'll be able to win more games this season with that formula.
