SWEETWATER-The Sweetwater Kiwanis Club
needs your help. Due to the economic downturn, the club's
fundraising efforts have been dramatically affected and the club is
in danger of having to cut some of its school projects. The
Sweetwater Kiwanis Club does the following projects for the
Sweetwater area:
The Annual Sweetwater Christmas
Parade
The Key Club at the Sweetwater
High School
The Builders Club at the
Sweetwater Jr. High
The Terrific Kids program at Brown
Middle School
The B.U.G. program at the
Sweetwater Elementary School
The Back-Pack program with
Second-Harvest for the Sweetwater City School System
Annually give money to "The
Center for Courageous Kids" in Scottsville, Ky. This is a camp
that provides children with various illnesses the ability to have
a summer camp experience.
In years past; Kiwanis has given
money to Young Life, Red Cross, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts and
