A man who claims Vonore as home has been arrested in Middle Tennessee on charges he raped a 14-year-old girl.

In a report in The Tennessean, law enforcement said Ron Hicks, 66, took the girl to Murfreesboro to watch a band perform. Police there say he gave the girl alcohol and molested her.

The Tennessean reported the girls parents' had hired Hicks as a manager for her singing career.

Hicks is charged with rape, two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and sexual exploitation of a minor.
