KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Butch Jones will be named the 24th
head coach of the Tennessee Volunteer football program. He will be introduced today at a 2:30 p.m.
press conference to be held in the Peyton Manning Locker Room at Neyland Stadium, according to the
UT Vols website. Jones comes to the Vols after coaching at the University of Cincinnati the
last three years, where he led the Bearcats to two conference championships . In each of the last
two seasons, he has been honored as the BIG EAST Coach of the Year. In six seasons as a head coach,
he has led his teams to four conference titles.
