The original proposal was to move Tellico Plains to District 5 where their average district game would include a road trip of at least 77 miles.  Bears Athletic Director Shawn Yates worked hard to ensure that the Bears would be kept in the best place possible. The TSSAA agreed and Tellico will remain in Class A District 3 through 2017.
