Two Madisonville men were arrested after they allegedly stole two cars and sold them for scrap.

Monroe County Sheriff's Detective Brian Turpin said he arrested Forest Stream Smiley and John Franklin wells, both of Mason Road, Madisonville, after receiving information they were the ones who took the vehicle from addresses on Brakebill Road and Niles Ferry Road.
