MADISONVILLE-A man who was found guilty
this past summer of taking part in a 2009 murder has been sentenced
to eight years in jail.
Jonathan Michael Brown was found guilty
by a jury in June of facilitating second-degree murder and accessory
after the fact to second-degree murder in the March 2009 death of
Renee Miller.
Brown, 29, Chestue Road, Delano, was
accused of picking up Kenneth Waldrop after Waldrop killed Renee
Miller and left her body in a car outside of Etowah in March 2009.
Waldrop pleaded guilty to second-degree
murder in September 2010 and received a 25-year sentence. See full story in the Sunday, Sept. 21, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
