MADISONVILLE-A Madisonville man was
arrested Friday after he and a friend were spotted sitting in the
driveway of a house they don't live in.
Monroe County Sheriff's Sergeant B.J.
Johnson said he was patrolling on Anderson Road around 11 a.m. when
he saw two men later identified as Josh Devon Matoy and Bobby Wiseman
sitting in the driveway.
Johnson said he knew the man didn't
live in the house and pulled in to see what they were doing.
Johnson said while he was talking to
the men, he saw two long guns in the car. The guns would be found to
be loaded.
He asked the men to get out of the car
and while he was attempting to pat them down, Wiseman took off
running. See full story in the Wednesday, Sept. 12, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
