A woman arrested on Aug. 31 has been
indicted by a Monroe County Grand Jury on drug charges.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office
served a search warrant at 1576 Mecca Pike outside of Tellico Plains
based on information from a citizen that illegal drug
activities were taking place at this home, according to a press
release from the Sheriff's Office.
This was followed with an investigation
by Agent Ben Baker, who was able to procure a warrant based on his
investigation. See full story in the Wednesday, Sept. 12, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
