SWEETWATER-It appears the overgrown
former TMI/TMG campus will be cleaned up, City Planning and Codes
Enforcement Officer Scott Wilson said.
Wilson addressed the issue at the end
of an hour-long Sweetwater Regional Planning Commission workshop
Monday.
The campus has deteriorated with high
grass and downed trees while it remains vacant during ongoing
litigation over who actually owns the 144-acre property.
Wilson said previously Chancellor Jerri
Byrant had not allowed anyone on the grounds while the lawsuit is
pending, but the city petitioned her to allow the campus to be
cleaned up. See full story in the Wednesday, Sept. 12, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
