SWEETWATER-After the first few days of classes, the Sweetwater City School System's enrollment is up slightly over projections.

During Monday's Sweetwater Board of Education meeting, Director of Schools Dr. Melanie Miller said the Central Office is closely watching the classroom sizes for seventh grade at Sweetwater Junior High.

While the eighth grade is very small, about 130 students, the seventh grade is close to having 200 students.

Miller and the staff at SJHS will have to make sure the student-teacher ration numbers continue to be within state requirements for seventh grade.

Architect Sam Moser gave an update on the Brown Intermediate School renovation and the new Administration Building/Central Office.
