MADISONVILLE-The trial of Jessica Kennedy in the 2010 death of Jim Miller is only hours away, but motions, and rulings on those motions were still trickling in Friday morning.

Miller was found shot to death in a burning car on July 17, 2010. It was a few months before an arrest was made of Kennedy, who has given many conflicting stories of what happened to Miller, including one in which she was the one who pulled the trigger killing him.

Kennedy has been in jail since November 2010, first on other charges, before she was arrested in January of 2011 for allegedly killing Miller.
