MADISONVILLE-The jail has been
certified by the state for another year and the County Commission
can't agree where to put a new one, but Monroe County Mayor Tim
Yates is keeping up the good fight by seeking out new locations.
In a brief, sparsely attended Justice
Committee meeting Thursday evening, Yates said there are three new
locations to consider and that it appears the owner of the Food Lion
