As of Monday afternoon, power crews are working feverishly all over the county to restore electricity after Sunday night's storm downed dozens of trees and power.

The Sweetwater City Pool and Duck Park had to be closed Monday due to storm damage.

As of Monday, plans are still on for Sweetwater's Independence Day Celebration on Wednesday concluding with a fireworks show at dark.
