One of the most anticipated TSSAA Board of Control meetings in recent memory turned out to be much ado about nothing, for now at least.
With reclassification on the agenda and the possibility looming of high school sports undergoing a seismic shift, there was much anticipation about the direction the Board would go in classifying schools for the 2013-2017 school years.
However, coaches, administrators, and fans will have to wait awhile longer to find out what changes, if any, are in store for TSSAA schools as the vote was tabled during the Board of Control meetings last Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
There will be a special meeting on July 12 at a location to be determined to decide what direction the association will move in setting the number of classes for the next four-year cycle.
