Edna Anderson Watson of Sweetwater, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. Mrs. Watson retired after 39 years of teaching school in the Monroe and McMinn County school systems. She was a member of the Christianburg Baptist Church.
She was 97.
Preceded in death by: her husbands, Hubert "Hub" Anderson and Esley Watson; brothers, Price, Ralph, and Jack Forrester; sisters, Newell Isaacs, Evelyn Wilcox, Barbara Ritchie, Geneva Forrester and Gladys Wattenbarger.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and William Humphreys;
Sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Sue Anderson, Tommy and Betty Anderson, all of Sweetwater;
Grandchildren, Greg Humphreys of Oklahoma City, Okla., Larry Joe Anderson of Sweetwater, Angela Hurt of Atlanta, Ga., Marla Thode of Deonna Venable of Knoxville;
Five great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter;
Many nieces and nephews.

Receiving friends Monday, Sept. 23 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. Darrell Cardin and Rev.
