Evelyn Schultz Cook

Evelyn Schultz Cook, beloved widow of James Boyd Cook of
Madisonville, went home to be with the Lord at 2:45 p.m., Saturday, April 20,
at Sweetwater Hospital. She had just celebrated her 94th birthday on
April 6. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kingston. She was a
lover of the Bible, good Christian books and listened to Christian radio every
night. She invested her life in being a homemaker and taking care of her
family. She loved to sew, crochet and make colorful quilts. We miss her
already, but are so thankful for the many years the Lord allowed us to have her
Preceded in death by: parents, Milo T. and Ella Ross
Schultz; sister, Bernice Gray; and brothers, Ross and Edgar Schultz.
She will be greatly missed by: daughter and son-in-law-Dana
and Roger Syrja of Madisonville;
Sons and daughters-in-law-Dave and Pat Cook and Ray and Jan
Cook, all of Michigan;
Grandchildren-Mike, Lisa, James, John, Matt and Steve;
Great-grandchildren-Mike, Melissa, Ashley, Christian,
Krysta, Savannah and Nathan, all of Michigan;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, in Biereley-Hale
Chapel with interment 11 a.m., Thursday in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery. Family
will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., before services Wednesday. Biereley-Hale
Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
