Rex Donald Kelley

Rex Donald Kelley of Tellico Plains, passed away suddenly,
Tuesday, March 19, at his home. He was employed for 40 years with the U.S.
Forest Service and retired in 2011. He was a lifelong member of Altoona Baptist
Church of Coker Creek and served as deacon for 28 years. He was an avid hunter
an enjoyed spending time in the forest.
He was 62.
Preceded in death by: parents, Archie and Gwindlen Davis
Kelley; sisters, Gloria and Sandra Kelley; brothers, Danny and Tim Kelley; sister-in-law,
Survivors include: wife-Brenda Burnett Kelley;
Daughter and son-in-law-Deanne (Kelley) and Greg Kirkland;
Son and daughter-in-law-Rex (Donnie) Donald Kelley Jr. and
Grandsons-Weston Hamilton and Cole Kirkland;
Sisters and brothers-in-law-Tonya Kelley, Gail and Doug Hill
and Sue and Steve Moore;
Brothers and sisters-in-law-William and Carolyn Kelley, Mark
and Beatrice Kelley, Royce and Stephanie Kelley and Eddie and Gwenda Kelley,
all of Tellico Plains; Freddie and Terri Kelley of Madisonville; Terry Kelley
of Princeton, W.Va.; Holly Kelley Scott and Suzan Kelley Schrader, both of
Multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Thursday, in Biereley-Hale
Chapel with Rev. Gale Miller and Rev. David Chambers officiating. Interment
will be 7:30 a.m., Friday, in Altoona Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Houston
officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope for Haiti Funds
c/o Sweetwater Baptist Association, 696 Anderson St., Madisonville, TN 37354.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, before the service.
