Orvil Poole

Orvil Poole of Sweetwater, passed away at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, at his home. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was 71.

Preceded in death by: parentsm Aubey and Ruth Hester Poole; sisters, Mary Beth Poole and Nellie Shaw; brother, L.A. Poole.

Survivors include: wife-Sheila Gravette Poole;

Daughters-Melissa Vance, Mandy Murphy, both of Vonore; Angela Zeyala of Madisonville; and Tennga Burchell of Sweetwater;

Seven grandchildren;

Four great-grandchildren;

Sisters-Fay Hipps and Joyce Meron;

Brother-Paul Poole, all of Georgia;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Thursday, at Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Richard Poole officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Friday at Vonore Baptist Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 5156 and DAV #93. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. before the services on Thursday. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
