Clara Tinnell

Clara Tinnell of Sweetwater, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Feb. 25, after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Outpost Mission.

She was 72.

Preceded in death by: husband of 50 years, Doyle Tinnell; mother, Ollie Mae Rolen; sister, Shirley Byrum; granddaughter, Tamara Leann Strickland; great-granddaughter, Abby White.

Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law-Terri Tinnell of Sweetwater; Tracey and Chris Bagley of Athens; and Tammy and Dan Beebe of Niota;

Grandchildren-Crystal and Davey Upton of Niota; Derek Smith, Danielle and Tharron White, all of Sweetwater; Gerald and Hailey Milsaps of Niota;

Great-grandchildren-Trinity and Micah Upton, Riley Milsaps, Caiden Smith and Bryson White;

Brother and sister-in-law-Bill and Imogene Hyde of Sweetwater;

Special friends-Paul Willett, Mary Helen Green and Larry Broglin, all of Sweetwater.

The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel, where the family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 28, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to follow in Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Rev. Bobby Pettitt, Rev. Blanche Settles, and Rev. Ronnie Cook officiating. Graveside service and interment will be Friday, March 1, at 1 p.m. in Sweetwater Memorial Park.
