Gary Ted Cagle of Madisonville, passed away peacefully at 6:20 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, at his home.  Ted was a member of First Baptist Church of Madisonville, a graduate of Madisonville High School (1970) and Hiwassee College (1972).  He served in the banking industry for 18 years before being elected City Recorder and Municipal Judge for the City of Madisonville in 1990 and served until his death. 

He was 60.

Preceded in death by: parents, Carroll and Merle Cagle; brother, Oran Cagle; uncle, Frank Moore; and niece, Lissa Vickery.

Survivors include: sons-Gary Michael Cagle and Brandon Carroll Cagle;

Mother-Belinda Gibson Cagle;

Sister and brother-in-law-Carolyn and Jim Pewitt;

Nephews and spouse-Jeff and Karen Pewitt and Andy Cagle;

Nieces and spouses-Kathy and Dave Lantrondress and Julie and Chris Armstrong;

Aunt-Gena Moore;

Cousins-Regena Ann Moore, Dennis and Jane Moore, Yale and Donise Moore, Johnny and Judy Nussbaum; and

Other cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Special friends and caregivers-Tabby Towns, Gus Davis, Ricky Carroll, Connie Raper and Lynette Martin-Wagner.

Ted�s Celebration of Life will be held at The First Baptist Church in Madisonville from 3-7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, with the memorial service to follow with Dr. Lon Shoopman.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Madisonville Library building fund or First Baptist Church of Madisonville Youth Mission Fund.  Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
