Porfirio Rivera-Medina of Madisonville, passed away
at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Sweetwater Hospital. He was a member of Hickory Grove House of
Prayer.
He was 76.
Preceded in death by: son, Nelson Medina; parents,
Faustino Medina and Maria Rivera; brother, Tony Medina.
Survivors include: wife-Joyce Reagan Medina;
Children and spouses-Melissa and Dustin Cox and
Jeremy Medina, all of Madisonville; Porfirio Jr. and Candy Medina of Chicago; Nilsa Medina of
Connecticut; and Angie Medina of Florida;
Stepchildren and spouses-Rita and Kevin Myers; and Roman and Angie
Locklear, all of Alabama;
Numerous
grandchildren and great-granchildren;
Twin
sisters-Luz and Luz Medina, both of Puerto Rico;
Other sisters-Melanie Medina of New Jersey; Deloris Medina, Ida Medina
and Maria Medina;
Brother-Jesse Medina, all
of Puerto Rico;
Several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m.,
Saturday at Biereley-Jale Chapel with Rev. Johnny Harris and Rev. Ed Harris officiating. Interment
will be in Chestua Methodist Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday.
Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
